Piglet's Room (0 to 2 years) (picture 1 of 2)

This room caters for children from 6 weeks to 24 months old. A separate sleep area and a separate changing area. Breast feeding is not discouraged and parents wishing to do so can make further arrangements with the nursery manager.

Our experienced, qualified staff ensure that the highest standards of care and safety are vigorously maintained whilst adapting to the individual routines of each baby as required by the parents. Our staff ensure that each baby is given the care and attention it needs that will encourage the early development stages, such as learning to sit, crawl, stand and talk.

Enjoying early games such as peek-a-boo, clapping and finding hidden objects will always be part of your child's daily play. There will also be plenty of opportunities for one to one interaction with staff and other children.

From the age of twelve months, your child will start a gradual move into one of our toddler groups. Your child will begin to experience natural materials such as sand and water as well as discovering the pleasure of play dough, printing and painting.

Tigger's Room (2 to 3 years)

This room provides a range of play areas and activities that are aimed at promoting children's development. Children will have access to the messy play area, role play area, sand, water and construction. This room provides a warm and inviting atmosphere with carpeted area and cleanable floor surface to accommodate a range of activities.

Christopher Robin's (3 to 5 years) (picture 1 of 2)

There are two spacious rooms which provide a home corner, math's area, music/listening station, messy play, sand, water, computer and a book/quiet area. The nursery is registered to deliver Nursery Education Funding (NEF) which entitles you to 15 hours of FREE childcare. (See nursery manager for further details) This unit also works towards the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum (EYFS). This curriculum is the same as a nursery school.

Pooh's Room (0 to 5 years)

This room caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age and can be used by all ages. It provides a warm and cosy atmosphere where children are able to access a range of different toys and activities at their will. The room provides a cleanable floor surface together with sand and water facilities. This room also provides easy access to the children's bathroom/changing area.

Outdoor Play Environment

Located at the rear of the premises is a secure outdoor play environment. This area is designed to accommodate play activities suitable for all ages of children, providing a suitable range of stimulating play equipment. The play area offers a grassed area, hard surface area and a sheltered area.

Security

Rainbow Hill takes security very seriously, the main entrance to the nursery remains locked at all times. Some internal doors also have security locks and entrance cannot be gained unless accompanied by a member of staff. We ask all parents to refrain from letting people into the nursery who they are not familiar with and ensure that doors are closed firmly behind them.

There are CCTV cameras in operation throughout the nursery to provide parents with "peace of mind" that there child is safe and secure. These security measures are taken to ensure the nursery remains secure from unwanted visitors.

Any visitors must fill in the "visitor's book" on arrival and departure and will be supervised throughout their visit.
